I am pleased to inform you that I assumed the position of APWU National Postal Press Association President on December 1, 2023. At the time, I needed to fill two positions: Secretary-Treasurer and Editor-At-Large.

I had five candidates to consider for the Secretary-Treasurer position and after careful evaluation, I recommended Chiezika "Chez" Nwanyanwu, Executive Treasurer of Greater Los Angeles Area Local 64 APWU, AFL-CIO. I recommended him because of his impressive skill set and the positive changes he has brought about in his local. Furthermore, his vision for how he can assist the PPA aligns with mine. The council accepted my recommendation, and I am confident that Chez will be an asset to the team.
